Laser Vein Removal

Laser treatment of vascular lesions - Vascular treatments with the YAG laser are most effective in treating telengectasia (“broken capillaries” on the face) and spider veins on legs. The heat from the laser damages the interior of the blood vessels, causing the vein or capillary to clot off, and thus no longer be visible. Results are usually seen within 6 weeks of the treatment. Usually 1 to 3 treatments are necessary to remove the visible veins and capillaries.
